What is on the line

3

Record-equalling

A win for James Kann Cruz, Corbie V.V. or Ariso is a third, level with Donatello 141 and Kalinka van't Zorgvliet.

2

Back to back

Corbie V.V. won Greenwich. Only Jordan Coyle and Ariso have won consecutive legs. It would also give Bluman five, level with Farrington.

20

Ward's 20th try

McLain Ward has never won a MLSJ Grand Prix. High Star Hero is the fourth-rated horse here and goes late, 32nd of 36.

1st

A title defended

No rider has ever defended a MLSJ Grand Prix the following year. Rene Dittmer goes 12th on Cody 139, 4th at the World Cup Final.

11th

A new nation

Ten nations have won. Switzerland (Mändli), Great Britain (Mendoza), Australia (Scott) and Colombia (Teran Tafur) are all here and have never won.

9%

Ariso, the streak horse

Jordan Coyle and Ariso are the only pair to win back-to-back legs, in 2021 and 2022, and are also chasing a third. Two clears from 23 rounds at this level. They go 20th.
